Casual Chef - Aged Care

About the role

Estia Health Ringwood, a home within the Waldreas Retirement Village offering quality care to the local community, is looking for an experienced Chef to join its team on a casual basis. You will help deliver exceptional service to residents so that their meal experience meets the highest standard.

Key responsibilities

• Create nutritious and healthy meals that meet the diverse needs of residents
• Prepare and deliver food to the highest quality and service standards in line with Estia Health guidelines
• Use attention to food handling and hygiene standards
• Cater menus to the individual needs of residents
• Train and mentor the kitchen team to the expected standards

Required profile

• Experience as a chef
• Passion for creating nutritious, healthy and delicious food
• Team player who takes pride in the work and in a warm, welcoming environment for residents
