About the role

The Old Noarlunga Hotel is looking for a friendly, reliable Bar Attendant to join its team. The role suits someone who enjoys meeting people, working in a team and making guests feel welcome behind the bar.

Key responsibilities

• Serve drinks and take orders with friendly, efficient service
• Handle cash and EFTPOS transactions accurately
• Keep the bar clean, organised and well stocked
• Collect and clean glassware and maintain welcoming guest areas
• Build positive relationships with locals, visitors and teammates
• Follow responsible service of alcohol, hygiene and venue safety procedures

Required profile

• A current Responsible Service of Alcohol (RSA) certificate
• Keno and TAB certified favourable
• Previous bar or hospitality experience (highly regarded)
• Availability to work across a rotating roster, including weekends and evenings
• Reliable, hands-on approach and positive team attitude

Required skills

• Friendly, approachable manner and good communication skills
• Ability to stay organised during busy service
