Carpenter - Northern Beaches Team

About the role

ASCOT GROUP, which has delivered commercial building services for 15 years across health and aged care, retirement living, education, government and commercial environments, is looking for a carpenter to join its Northern Beaches team. The position is full-time and stable.

Key responsibilities

• Read and interpret blueprints, drawings and specifications to determine project requirements
• Measure, cut and assemble timber components to build walls, floors, roofs and staircases
• Install and repair cabinets, shelving, doors, windows and other fixtures
• Ideally bring plastering skills to support finishing works
• Operate power tools and hand tools safely and effectively
• Work with electricians, plumbers and other trades to ensure smooth project delivery
• Maintain a clean, organised work environment and follow safety standards

Required profile

• Qualified carpenter with 3-5+ years of hands-on experience, ideally in commercial construction
• Strong ability to read plans and deliver accurate carpentry work
• Confident using power tools and hand tools safely and efficiently
• Practical problem-solver able to handle site challenges
• Team player who communicates well with other trades and supervisors
• Valid driver's licence and reliable transport
