Experienced Tiler - Retirement Living Villages

About the role

Ascot Group is looking for an experienced Tiler with a current NSW waterproofing licence to deliver quality wall and floor tiling across retirement living villages. The work creates practical, welcoming spaces for residents, and the team values workmanship, reliability and getting the details right.

You will take ownership of your tiling and waterproofing from surface preparation through to final handover, working alongside site supervisors, project managers and other trades.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and level surfaces, check substrates and carry out waterproofing within the scope of your licence.
• Set out and install wall and floor tiles to specifications and agreed layouts.
• Cut and fit tiles around fixtures, corners and drains, ensuring correct falls in wet areas.
• Complete grouting, silicone and finishing with care and attention to detail.
• Identify issues early, check your completed work and carry out required rectifications.
• Complete waterproofing records and documentation.
• Keep the work area safe, clean and organised, especially around residents.

Required profile

• A relevant trade qualification or demonstrated tiling experience.
• A current NSW waterproofing licence.
• An understanding of relevant Australian Standards, waterproofing requirements and site safety.
• A current White Card and driver's licence.
• A respectful, professional approach when working in residents' homes and shared spaces.
• The ability to work independently and coordinate with the wider site team.
