Care Assistant – Home Care (Perth, Scotland)

About the role

We are seeking compassionate Care Assistants to provide high‑quality support to clients in their own homes across the Perth and Kinross area. You will join MM Support, a home‑care provider, and work flexible shifts covering mornings and evenings.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver person‑centred care to clients in their homes, meeting their daily living and health needs.
• Follow Health & Social Care Standards and company policies while ensuring client safety and wellbeing.
• Communicate effectively with clients, families and the care team, both verbally and in writing.
• Travel between client homes using your own vehicle, recording travel time accurately.

Required profile

• Reliable, hard‑working and trustworthy.
• Valid UK driving licence and access to a car.
• Eligibility to work in the UK and access to a smartphone.
• Willingness to register with the SSSC and cover short‑notice shifts.

What we offer

• Hourly rate of £13.45 for contact time and £12.71 for travel.
• Full‑time and part‑time hours with flexible shift patterns.
• Free annual training, uniform and PVG clearance (for existing members).
• Paid travel reimbursement at 25p per mile, pension scheme and “refer a friend” bonus.
