Cardiac Sonographer

About the role

Goulburn Valley Health is recruiting a Cardiac Sonographer for its Clinical Diagnostic Unit, which completes cardiac, neurological and respiratory testing and operates Monday to Friday. The role is based in Graham Street, Shepparton, and is open to permanent full-time (80 hours per fortnight) and part-time positions.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct echocardiograms on outpatients and hospital inpatients
• Develop interim reports for the cardiologist and escalate abnormalities
• Work closely with the cardiologist and team to perform stress echocardiograms

Required profile

• Completion of an accredited Cardiac Ultrasound qualification
• Current registration with the Australian Sonographer Accreditation Registry
