Candidate Manager (Technology Recruitment)

About the role

Emmbr is seeking a Candidate Manager to join its high‑performance technology recruitment team in Melbourne. This candidate‑focused position will involve building strong relationships with software engineering, AI and data professionals and delivering a premium recruitment experience for both candidates and clients.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain relationships with software engineering, AI & Data candidates across the market.
• Grow and manage talent pools within Emmbr’s database.
• Source candidates through proactive outreach and networking.
• Coordinate interviews and manage the end‑to‑end recruitment process from initial contact to placement.
• Prepare candidate profiles and support client submissions.
• Ensure a high‑touch, positive candidate experience throughout the recruitment journey.

Required profile

• Minimum of 2 years’ experience in technology recruitment.
• Exposure to or strong interest in software development, AI or data markets.
• Excellent communication and relationship‑building skills.
• Confident in managing multiple recruitment processes simultaneously.
• Strong attention to detail and organisational abilities.
• Proactive, collaborative mindset and a passion for people and technology.
