Calypso Quality Engineer (Contract) - Sydney

About the role

Hastha Solutions is recruiting urgently for a Quality Engineer on a 6-month contract in Sydney, with possible extension. The role covers functional, regression, integration and automated testing of trading applications and related systems, within the Capital Markets domain.

Key responsibilities

• Perform functional, regression and integration testing for application enhancements and defect fixes.
• Validate trade lifecycle workflows across Front Office, Risk and Back Office functions.
• Test trade affirmation and confirmation processes through integrated platforms.
• Develop, maintain and execute test cases, test scripts and automation suites.
• Conduct SQL-based data validation and reconciliation.
• Collaborate with developers, business analysts and stakeholders to identify and resolve defects.
• Support UAT activities and maintain test documentation.

Required profile

• Experience in Calypso testing.
• Knowledge of Capital Markets and trade lifecycle processes.
• Experience with test automation and Agile delivery methodologies.
• Australian or New Zealand citizens or PR holders only.

• SQL and data validation expertise.
• Strong analytical, communication and problem-solving skills.
