Cadastral Surveyor

About the role

Bennett + Bennett, a surveying, town planning and spatial solutions provider established in 1968 on the Gold Coast, is looking for an experienced and motivated Cadastral Surveyor or Senior Surveyor to join its growing surveying team in the Sunshine Coast office. You will take ownership of projects within a supportive, collaborative team and work on high-quality, iconic projects.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality outcomes across exciting and iconic projects
• Carry out precise and accurate surveys to support project delivery
• Maintain high standards of quality, accuracy and compliance across all surveying work
• Complete a mix of fieldwork and office-based tasks, including calculations, pre-calculations, drafting and survey processing
• Liaise with internal stakeholders and clients to support communication and progress
• Use advanced surveying technologies and methodologies to improve efficiency and outcomes
• Work with a high degree of autonomy while staying connected to an internal support network

Required profile

• Proven experience as a Surveyor, with exposure to cadastral-based projects
• Bachelor's or Associate Degree in Surveying; registration (or eligibility) with the Surveyors Board of Queensland highly regarded
• Strong time-management and organisational skills and excellent attention to detail
• Collaborative mindset and passion for quality outcomes in a high-performing team

Required skills

• Proficiency in 12d and/or Civil 3D
• Experience with Trimble and Leica survey equipment
