Business Sales Consultant – Appointment Setter

About the role

We are seeking an engaging Business Sales Consultant to join our Marketing team as an Appointment Setter. Reporting to the Head of Marketing, you will make strategic outbound calls to qualified prospects across Australia, identify high‑potential leads and book quality appointments for our sales teams.

Key responsibilities

• Make outbound cold‑calls to qualified B2B prospects and schedule meetings for the sales team.
• Conduct targeted market research to uncover new business opportunities.
• Maintain accurate, up‑to‑date records in our CRM (Pipedrive).
• Complete follow‑up tasks, including reporting on call activity, appointments set and outcomes.
• Collaborate with the Head of Marketing to refine lead‑generation strategies.

Required profile

• Proven cold‑calling experience in a B2B environment.
• Confident phone manner with a strong drive to meet KPIs.
• Self‑motivated, results‑oriented and resilient under pressure.
• Excellent communication and organisational abilities.
• Ability to quickly grasp complex information and explain it clearly.

Required skills

• Pipedrive (or similar CRM) proficiency.
