Business Development Specialist

About the role

Asset Conformity Testing Services is seeking a Business Development Specialist to lead growth in Western Australia’s mining, oil and gas, and infrastructure sectors. You will own a territory, build on existing relationships, and drive new business opportunities for our asset inspection and testing services.

Key responsibilities

• Identify and pursue new business opportunities across mining, port, rail and related industries.
• Maintain and expand relationships with maintenance managers, superintendents and procurement leaders.
• Prepare and submit tenders, proposals and technical submissions.
• Travel to client sites to strengthen relationships and support customer retention.
• Collaborate with internal teams to ensure service delivery meets regulatory and performance standards.

Required profile

• Proven network of contacts within WA mining, resources or related sectors.
• Demonstrated commercial drive and ability to work autonomously.
• Experience as a Business Development Manager, Sales Engineer or Account Manager in a resources‑focused environment.
• Willingness to travel regularly to client sites.

Required skills

• Technical knowledge of pressure equipment
• Understanding of crane operations
• Familiarity with registered plant specifications
