Business Development Representative – Sydney (Hybrid)

About the role

Wayflyer is a fast‑growing fintech that provides quick capital to small businesses. As a Business Development Representative you will be the first point of contact for founders, introducing them to Wayflyer’s financing solutions and feeding qualified opportunities to the Account Executives team.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct targeted outreach to founders through smart, personalized communication.
• Engage in real conversations to understand funding needs and qualify prospects.
• Build genuine rapport with founders and position Wayflyer as a trusted financing partner.
• Identify high‑potential businesses and hand them over to Account Executives for further engagement.

Required profile

• Proven experience thriving in a target‑driven sales environment.
• Resilient mindset – learns from rejection and continuously iterates approach.
• Strong commercial curiosity and the ability to spot opportunities beyond the immediate role.
• Fluent English; startup experience is a plus but not mandatory.
