Business Development Representative

About the role

Troocoo partners with a well-established Australian manufacturer of premium building products for residential and commercial sectors. The business has developed an innovative product line ready to expand nationally, and is looking for an experienced Business Development Representative in Brisbane. The role grows the customer and licensee network across Australia and helps drive the next phase of the business.

Key responsibilities

• Drive new business opportunities and grow the customer and licensee network across Australia.
• Identify, prospect and convert new customers through a mix of warm and cold business development activities.
• Build and maintain a healthy sales pipeline using the CRM.
• Conduct product demonstrations and present tailored solutions to prospective customers.
• Support new licensees through onboarding and give ongoing guidance to maximise their success.
• Work closely with the marketing team to execute local marketing initiatives.
• Manage the end-to-end sales process, including customer engagement, order processing and ongoing relationship management.
• Travel as required to meet prospective customers and support existing licensees.

Required profile

• Minimum 3-5+ years' experience in business development, account management or sales.
• Demonstrated experience in windows, doors, security screens and glazing is an advantage and helps build credibility quickly.
• Proven ability to generate new business and build a strong sales pipeline.
• Strong commercial acumen and confidence working autonomously.

Required skills

• Strong communication, presentation and relationship-building skills.
• CRM use for managing the sales pipeline.
