Business Development Manager

About the role

This exciting role sits within Bell Financial Group (ASX:BFG) and works alongside Bell Potter Securities, Desktop Broker and Bell Potter Capital. You will provide a comprehensive suite of equities execution, investments, lending, and cash services to investors via their advisers, positioning you as a strategic partner.

Key responsibilities

• Proactively source and develop new business from internal and external referral networks.
• Ensure current and prospective clients receive a consistent experience through outstanding service.
• Assist with the development of presentation and marketing materials for existing and potential clients.
• Maintain an up‑to‑date CRM and build a continuous pipeline of prospective clients.

Required profile

• Self‑managed and solutions‑orientated with excellent interpersonal and analytical skills.
• Proven ability to identify and develop new business opportunities and generate revenue growth.
• Good understanding of the Australian financial product landscape, including margin lending and structured products.
• Ability to balance competing requirements such as growth, regulatory compliance, client service and quality.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills for a wide range of stakeholders.
• Demonstrated success in managing key client relationships.
• Solid network in the broker and high‑net‑worth advisory markets (advantageous).
• Strong desire to learn, innovate and broaden skill set.
• RG 146 compliance and/or relevant tertiary qualifications.
