Business Development Manager

About the role

Now Finance, an Australian‑owned non‑bank lender specialising in fee‑free personal loans and low‑fee auto loans, is seeking a Business Development Manager to grow its presence in the Eastern Suburbs of Melbourne. You will work alongside a high‑performing sales team, building relationships with brokers and aggregator groups to drive loan applications.

Key responsibilities

• Manage a portfolio of brokers across multiple third‑party aggregation platforms to achieve sales targets.
• Source new business by accrediting new introducers and conducting structured sales calls and visits.
• Train intermediaries on NOW Finance products and systems.
• Discuss loan scenarios with brokers to increase application volume and quality.
• Develop and leverage relationships with regional managers, BDMs and aggregator staff.
• Conduct monthly reviews with brokers and aggregators to identify opportunities.
• Monitor compliance with regulatory obligations, credit standards and fraud risk.

Required profile

• Strong communication and relationship‑building abilities.
• Proven sales background with a drive for growth; consumer lending experience is a plus but not mandatory.
• Confident, self‑motivated team player with high energy and enthusiasm.
