Business Development Manager (Internal Sales)

About the role

Supagas, a supplier of cylinder gases such as LPG, industrial gases, hospitality gases and helium, is looking for a full-time Internal Sales Business Development Manager to join its Sales team. The role is based in the Adelaide office but covers leads across South Australia, the Northern Territory and Tasmania. It contributes directly to the company's growth objectives through customer acquisition, retention and account development.

Key responsibilities

• Generate profitable new business through outbound calling, digital lead conversion, customer referrals and sales campaigns.
• Identify opportunities to cross-sell and up-sell the full Supagas product portfolio.
• Build a strong sales pipeline and maintain accurate forecasting.
• Develop long-term customer relationships and grow revenue within existing accounts by reviewing customer usage.
• Partner with external Business Development Managers and complete documentation within required timeframes.
• Use CRM reporting to prioritise sales activity and deliver an outstanding customer experience from enquiry to onboarding.

Required profile

• Experience in a fast-paced call centre environment is essential.
• Experience in a similar sales role with gas industry experience is advantageous.
• Proven ability to exceed sales targets and forecast accurately.
• Passion for sales, including designing call cycles and exploring new business opportunities.
• Excellent communication skills with inbound and outbound sales experience.
• Reliable vehicle and full driver's licence.
