Business Development Manager – Architectural & Interior Products

About the role

A leading international brand specialising in window furnishing systems and smart home technology is looking for a Business Development Manager to join its Sydney team. The role suits a confident, proactive salesperson who enjoys meeting people and winning new business; industry experience is not essential.

Key responsibilities

• Identify and approach manufacturing businesses to generate new sales opportunities.
• Build relationships with key decision-makers and turn prospects into customers.
• Present innovative products and technology solutions to potential clients.
• Manage the sales pipeline, follow up on leads and track opportunities using Salesforce.
• Monitor industry trends, emerging technologies and upcoming projects to spot new business opportunities.

Required profile

• Sales, business development, retail or another customer-facing role.
• Proactive approach to prospecting and confidence to initiate conversations and secure new business.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to connect with people from all backgrounds.
• Genuine interest in technology and innovation, with the initiative to learn and stay ahead of trends.

What we offer

• Salary of $80k-$115k base plus super and commission, depending on experience.
