Business Development Manager – APAC

About the role

Emesent is seeking a Business Development Manager to drive revenue growth across the APAC region. You will own a full sales territory, working directly with technical clients and building a partner‑sourced pipeline to expand the adoption of our mobile mapping, autonomous robotics, and spatial data solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Generate revenue growth across APAC through direct sales and channel partnerships.
• Manage end‑to‑end sales cycles with multi‑stakeholder buying groups in surveying, AEC, government, and mining markets.
• Develop territory plans, forecast pipelines, and maintain disciplined pipeline management.
• Qualify opportunities, create proposals, negotiate contracts, and close deals.
• Identify, activate, and grow relationships with high‑quality reseller, referral, and technology partners.
• Coordinate product demonstrations with technical experts while retaining commercial ownership.

Required profile

• 5+ years of quota‑carrying sales, channel sales, or business development experience in a technical industry.
• Proven track record of building pipeline and closing commercial opportunities.
• Experience growing revenue through partners, distributors, or referral channels.
• Strong commercial judgement, pipeline discipline, and forecasting ability.
• Confidence engaging technical users, commercial buyers, senior stakeholders, and partner sales teams.
• Ability to travel across the APAC region.
