Business Development Executive (Part‑time, Cairns)

About the role

As a Business Development Executive you will be the face of our brand across the Cairns CBD, ensuring our products are visible, available and delivering great customer experiences. This fast‑paced field sales position involves daily travel, relationship building and uncovering new business opportunities within your territory.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute strategies to meet sales targets.
• Identify and pursue new business opportunities in the assigned territory.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with existing customers.
• Monitor competitor activity and market trends to provide actionable insights.
• Collaborate with Marketing to ensure product availability and successful promotions.
• Provide regular reporting on sales performance, opportunities and market intelligence.

Required profile

• Valid Australian driver’s licence with willingness to travel throughout the territory.
• Strong communicator able to build and maintain effective relationships.
• Organised, strategic and confident in planning and prioritising work.
• Problem‑solver who turns challenges into opportunities.
• Resilient, energetic and able to thrive through change.
• Experience in FMCG, retail or convenience sectors is an advantage (not essential).
