Business Development Executive (Corporate Sales)

About the role

Punthill Maitland, part of Veriu Group, is hiring a Business Development Executive for its corporate accounts (B2B). The role works closely with the Hotel Manager to drive growth and secure new corporate relationships. The position is permanent and part-time, based in Maitland, New South Wales.

Key responsibilities

• Identify, pursue and secure growth opportunities for corporate accounts (B2B)
• Drive direct corporate sales to increase production and generate new corporate relationships
• Navigate and secure opportunities linked to major projects and institutions
• Cold call, knock on doors, generate new leads and build a strong corporate pipeline
• Increase brand awareness by improving existing relationships and building new ones
• Conduct site inspections, client visits, attend industry events and work in a team-oriented way
• Develop and implement sales plans and a targeted approach to exceed targets

Required profile

• Approved Australian working rights (citizenship, permanent residency or a visa with approved working rights)
• Demonstrated experience in B2B sales
• Experience managing people in a customer service environment
• Ability to resolve problems or complaints and to make strategically aligned business decisions
• Adaptable, enjoys variety and has an ownership mindset
