Business Development Consultant (Part-Time)

About the role

Recruitment Edge is a privately owned boutique generalist recruitment agency based in Mascot, operating for over 25 years and specialising in permanent and temporary white and blue-collar workforce solutions. It is looking for a proactive Business Development Consultant to drive new client acquisition on a part-time basis, working from the Mascot HO location.

Key responsibilities

• Identify, win and grow new business opportunities across temporary and permanent recruitment solutions
• Work closely with consultants to convert opportunities and ensure a seamless client experience
• Pursue new business proactively, including warm calling and targeted cold calling
• Build relationships with hiring managers and key decision makers
• Present Recruitment Edge's service offerings and develop tailored workforce solutions for clients
• Convert warm leads and self-generated prospects, attend client meetings and networking events
• Maintain CRM activity and pipeline reporting

Required profile

• Proven B2B sales or business development experience
• Recruitment industry experience is highly regarded but not essential
• Commercially minded, relationship-driven and confident opening doors
• Positive, professional approach to cold calling; confident engaging senior stakeholders
• Current driver's licence and access to your own vehicle
