Sales Consultant - Central Quote Desk

About the role

KONE, a global organisation that provides technical expertise and digital connectivity to keep people moving safely and efficiently in buildings, is hiring a Sales Consultant for its growing Service business in Mascot, NSW. You will work in a customer-focused team, collaborating with Service Business teams across Australia and New Zealand, and will build customer relationships, manage sales opportunities and deliver tailored solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Act as the point of contact for preparing and coordinating quotations through the Central Quote Desk
• Follow up on leads and opportunities generated by the service and sales teams
• Understand customer requirements and identify value-added solutions
• Prepare quotations, tenders and smaller project submissions, with proactive follow-up to secure business
• Build and maintain relationships with customers and internal stakeholders
• Present and negotiate solutions, including upselling service and digital offerings where appropriate
• Manage CRM activities and keep accurate customer and opportunity records
• Support the wider sales team and perform administration tasks, keeping records up to date
• Contribute to sales targets and agreed individual KPIs

Required profile

• Positive, customer-focused attitude with a passion for delivering tailored solutions
• Previous experience in sales, internal sales, customer service, quoting or business development roles
• Enthusiastic, self-motivated, able to work independently and in a team
• Willingness to learn new technical and commercial skills
• Applicants must be a permanent resident or citizen of Australia or New Zealand

• Communication, presentation and negotiation skills
• Commercial awareness and ability to identify sales opportunities
• Technical aptitude and quick learning of products and services
• CRM experience, with Salesforce highly regarded
