Business Banker - Sydney Metro

About the role

CommBank is looking for a Business Banker for its Small Business Banking team in the Sydney Metro area. You will build and grow trusted relationships with small business customers, taking ownership from first conversation to fulfilment, and help strengthen CommBank's presence in the local business community.

Key responsibilities

• Manage and grow relationships with small business customers, understanding their goals, challenges and opportunities
• Originate and deliver business banking solutions, including commercial lending up to $1.5M, asset finance, merchant facilities and everyday banking
• Manage customer needs end-to-end and proactively develop new business
• Build relationships with local businesses, referral partners and key stakeholders
• Work collaboratively with colleagues and specialist teams to deliver the right outcomes

Required profile

• Experience in business or commercial banking, lending or B2B sales
• Strong financial analysis skills and commercial acumen
• Excellent relationship-building and customer engagement skills, face-to-face and remotely
• Ability to take ownership, work collaboratively and deliver great customer outcomes
• Genuine passion for supporting small businesses and building relationships in the local community
• FSRA Tier 2 Accreditation and relevant Credit Approval Authority, or willingness to obtain it
