Business Analyst – Energy & Utilities

About the role

Infosys Consulting is seeking an experienced Business Analyst to join its growing Perth team within the Services, Utilities, Resources and Energy (SURE) sector. You will act as a bridge between business and technology, driving requirements definition, stakeholder alignment and solution delivery across a complex technology landscape.

Key responsibilities

• Engage with business and technical stakeholders to gather, analyse, and document requirements.
• Facilitate workshops, process‑mapping sessions and solution‑design discussions.
• Translate business needs into clear functional and non‑functional requirements.
• Support Agile delivery teams through backlog refinement, user‑story development and prioritisation.
• Identify opportunities for process improvement and operational efficiency.
• Assist with business case development, impact assessments and change initiatives.
• Work closely with program and project leadership to ensure alignment across delivery streams.

Required profile

• Proven experience as a Business Analyst within complex technology delivery environments.
• Strong business‑process analysis, requirements elicitation and stakeholder‑management skills.
• Experience supporting Agile and SAFe delivery frameworks.
• Background in Oil & Gas, Energy, Resources or Mining industries (desirable).
• Experience working with large enterprise platforms and transformation programmes.
• Strong analytical, communication and facilitation capabilities.
• Growth mindset with a passion for continuous improvement and problem‑solving.
• Experience working across on‑shore and off‑shore delivery teams (advantageous).
