Branch Manager – Retail Banking

About the role

The Branch Manager will lead the overall operation of an ANZ retail branch in Ringwood, driving sales, service excellence and compliance. You will shape the customer experience while delivering growth across key performance pillars.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee daily branch operations, ensuring adherence to ANZ policies and procedures.
• Lead the branch team to achieve sales targets, revenue goals and profitability.
• Maintain high standards of customer service and enhance the digital customer journey.
• Monitor and improve performance metrics such as productivity, quality sales activity and branch profit.
• Ensure regulatory compliance and risk management across all activities.

Required profile

• Proven business development and sales planning experience, preferably in financial services.
• Strong leadership and people‑management capabilities.
• Solid business management background with commercial acumen.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal and networking skills.
• Previous experience in retail banking is highly desirable.
• Digital proficiency and a commitment to engaging customers through digital channels.
