Branch Financial Services Officer

About the role

Elders is seeking a Branch Financial Services Officer to join its team in Bathurst on a permanent, full-time basis. The role supports both customers and colleagues with specialist knowledge, providing ongoing training and guidance so the whole branch is confident in delivering its full suite of Financial Services solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Act as the branch go-to person for all Financial Services products.
• Provide training and product knowledge to other team members on the Financial Services product suite.
• Develop and implement an annual Branch Financial Services business plan aligned with the 8PP.
• Run sales campaigns to identify client opportunities across the product suite, including deposits, own balance sheet lending, agri-finance loans, commercial and asset finance, livestock and wool in transit warranty, insurance and prepayment facilities.
• Assist customers directly with deposit needs through one-on-one service such as account opening, maintenance, rollovers and general enquiries.
• Follow operational procedures for deposits and ensure 100% compliance with statutory legislation such as AML/CTF.

Required profile

• Demonstrated experience in administrative functions.
• Background in the Elders Branch Network or comparable experience in the agricultural or related industries.
• Track record of excellent customer service and strong organisational abilities.
• Able to collaborate with internal teams and external partners.

Required skills

• Skilled in interpersonal communication and stakeholder relationship management.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications and general computer operations.
