Blue Collar Recruiter – Mining, Resources & Energy

About the role

Reporting to the Recruitment Lead, you will own end‑to‑end blue‑collar recruitment for electricians, instrument technicians, riggers and trades assistants across shutdowns, projects and FIFO rosters.

Key responsibilities

• Source, screen and shortlist trades for shutdowns, projects and rostered roles.
• Turn around short‑notice crew requests, often within 24–48 hours.
• Maintain a warm pool of reliable tradespeople and verify tickets, licences, medicals and references.
• Hand‑confirm placements and coordinate mobilisation logistics such as flights, accommodation and site access.
• Keep candidate records and pipelines up to date in the ERP system.

Required profile

• Experience recruiting blue‑collar, trades or labour‑hire roles, either in‑house or agency.
• Background in mining, resources or FIFO environments is highly regarded.
• Comfortable conducting phone interviews and building rapport quickly.
• Organised under pressure with strong attention to compliance details.

Required skills

• Proficiency with an ATS, CRM or ERP recruitment system.
