Biomedical ICT Support Specialist

About the role

Children's Health Queensland (CHQ) is recruiting a Biomedical ICT Support Specialist for its Brisbane Inner City location. This frontline support role helps develop and implement ICT solutions, including biomedical device integration, while aligning with Information Management (IM) and ICT frameworks. It contributes to frontline services, programs and outcomes for children, young people and families.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in the installation, configuration, testing and support of ICT solutions, including software, hardware and equipment.
• Help build, document and implement biomedical ICT solutions within best-practice ICT design and delivery frameworks.
• Analyse local ICT system problems and propose appropriate solutions.
• Use design standards, methods and tools consistent with agreed enterprise and solution architectures.
• Work with specialist technical teams on complex technical solutions.
• Perform administrative functions and other duties as directed by the Biomedical ICT Manager.
• Contribute to Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander health equity reform and to a workplace supporting employment equity, anti-discrimination, work health and safety and ethical behaviour.
