Batcher in Charge

About the role

Join the Rockhampton concrete plant team as a Batcher in Charge, overseeing daily batching and dispatch operations to ensure high‑quality concrete delivery on time.

Key responsibilities

• Operate and maintain the concrete batching plant, mixers, conveyors and aggregate hoppers.
• Measure and weigh raw materials according to mix designs and perform quality control checks such as slump tests.
• Coordinate loading and dispatch of concrete trucks with delivery teams.
• Maintain production records, batch sheets and delivery logs.
• Conduct routine maintenance, troubleshooting and adhere to safety policies.

Required profile

• Prior experience in concrete batching or similar heavy‑industry role.
• Strong understanding of concrete mix designs and quality control procedures.
• Mechanical aptitude for basic maintenance and troubleshooting.
• Excellent attention to detail, multitasking ability and commitment to safety.
• Valid driver’s licence and ability to pass pre‑employment medical and drug screening.
