About the role

Applejack Hospitality, one of Sydney's leading hospitality groups, is looking for an experienced and passionate barista to join its café team. You will work alongside a supportive team that values quality, teamwork and genuine hospitality, serving both regular guests and new customers with exceptional coffee and friendly service.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and serve consistently high-quality coffee and beverages.
• Deliver warm, professional and engaging customer service.
• Work efficiently during busy service periods while maintaining attention to detail.
• Maintain a clean, organised and well-stocked coffee station.
• Work collaboratively with the wider front-of-house and kitchen teams.
• Uphold Applejack Hospitality's high standards of service and presentation.

Required profile

• 2-3 years of barista experience in a busy café or hospitality environment.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• A positive, enthusiastic and team-focused attitude.
• Ability to stay calm and organised under pressure.
• Reliability, professionalism and a strong work ethic.
• Availability to work Tuesday through Thursday.

Required skills

• Confidence in preparing specialty coffee with consistency and speed.
