Banking Consultant – Retail Banking (Moonee Ponds)

About the role

As a Banking Consultant in ANZ's Retail Banking division, you will deliver a seamless banking experience for customers in the Moonee Ponds branch. You will address end‑to‑end financial needs, guide customers through transactions, and educate them on digital and traditional financial solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Drive customer engagement and advocacy by providing high‑quality service.
• Support bank programs and initiatives across the branch.
• Maintain a thorough understanding of each customer’s risk profile (“know your customer”).
• Ensure compliance with ANZ policies, branch procedures, and regulatory requirements.
• Act as a role model and peer coach, fostering a collaborative team environment.

Required profile

• Strong customer focus; retail experience is an advantage.
• Comfortable using and promoting digital banking channels.
• Ability to multitask and adapt to change and ambiguity.
• Willingness to work collaboratively and coach peers.
• Good understanding of compliance requirements.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
