Banking Consultant - Retail Banking

About the role

ANZ is hiring a Banking Consultant for its Retail Banking team in Launceston (69 Brisbane Street, TAS), working from the branch network. The role is casual and focuses on helping customers achieve their financial goals through everyday banking transactions, needs-based conversations and education on financial solutions, including digital banking.

Key responsibilities

• Provide a seamless branch experience by meeting customers' end-to-end banking needs across transactions, conversations and digital banking solutions.
• Build strong customer relationships and deliver exceptional service outcomes.
• Educate customers on ANZ's products, services and digital capabilities.
• Act as a role model and peer coach, supporting a collaborative team environment.
• Help drive customer engagement, advocacy and value creation.
• Take responsibility for knowing your customer from a risk and compliance perspective.
• Ensure all activities follow ANZ policies, procedures and regulatory requirements.

Required profile

• A genuine passion for delivering outstanding customer experiences.
• Previous retail, customer service or banking experience with a strong customer focus.
• Confidence using technology and digital channels, able to support customers in adopting digital banking.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, and the ability to multitask and adapt to changing priorities.
• A collaborative approach and a sound understanding of compliance, risk and responsible banking practices.
