Banking Consultant – Retail Banking

About the role

As a Banking Consultant in ANZ's Retail Banking division, you will deliver a seamless branch experience, meeting each customer’s end‑to‑end financial needs and promoting digital solutions. You will work primarily in the Berri branch, providing high‑quality service and acting as a role model for peers.

Key responsibilities

• Provide customers with a seamless branch experience through transactions, needs‑based conversations and digital education.
• Act as a peer coach and role model within a collaborative team to enhance customer experience.
• Drive customer engagement and advocacy, creating real value for clients.
• Participate in bank programs and initiatives while ensuring compliance with ANZ policies.
• Maintain a strong ‘know your customer’ approach from a risk perspective.

Required profile

• Exceptional customer focus, preferably with retail experience.
• Comfortable using and promoting digital channels and technology.
• Ability to multitask, adapt to change and work in a collaborative environment.
• Sound understanding of compliance and strong communication skills.
