Banking Consultant – Retail Banking (Cammeray)

About the role

As a Banking Consultant in ANZ’s Retail Banking division, you will deliver a seamless branch experience, meeting each customer’s end‑to‑end financial needs and guiding them through digital and traditional solutions. The role is based in Cammeray and focuses on building strong customer relationships that turn clients into advocates for ANZ.

Key responsibilities

• Provide customers with a seamless branch experience, handling transactions, conducting needs‑based conversations and promoting digital solutions.
• Act as a role model and peer coach within a collaborative team to deliver the best possible customer experience.
• Drive increased customer engagement and advocacy, creating real value for clients.
• Participate in bank programs and initiatives, supporting broader organisational goals.
• Maintain a thorough “know your customer” approach from a risk perspective.
• Ensure compliance with ANZ and branch policies and procedures.

Required profile

• Strong customer focus, preferably with retail banking experience.
• Comfortable using and promoting technology and digital channels.
• Ability to multitask and adapt to change and ambiguity.
• Willingness to work collaboratively in a team environment.
• Sound understanding of compliance requirements.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
