Banking Consultant – Part‑time – North Ryde

About the role

As a Banking Consultant in ANZ’s Retail Banking division, you will deliver a seamless banking experience for customers, addressing their full range of financial needs and guiding them toward appropriate solutions, including digital channels.

Key responsibilities

• Drive higher customer engagement and advocacy through personalised service.
• Support and participate in bank programmes and initiatives.
• Maintain a thorough understanding of each customer’s risk profile (‘know your customer’).
• Ensure strict compliance with ANZ and branch policies and procedures.
• Provide peer coaching and act as a role model for delivering excellent service.

Required profile

• Strong customer‑focus with retail experience preferred.
• Comfortable using and promoting digital banking tools.
• Willingness to develop lending capabilities.
• Ability to multitask and adapt to change and ambiguity.
• Collaborative mindset and solid understanding of compliance.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Previous sales, retail or customer‑service experience preferred; Mandarin or Cantonese a plus.
