Banking Consultant (Part‑time)

About the role

ANZ is looking for a part‑time Banking Consultant to join its Hobart branch. You will work directly with customers, helping them manage their financial needs, from everyday transactions to longer‑term goals, while promoting ANZ’s digital solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver high‑quality customer service and build strong advocacy for ANZ.
• Engage customers in needs‑based conversations and recommend appropriate financial products.
• Support branch initiatives and programs that drive customer engagement.
• Maintain a thorough understanding of each customer’s risk profile (“know your customer”).
• Ensure compliance with ANZ policies, branch procedures and regulatory requirements.

Required profile

• Strong customer focus, preferably with retail experience.
• Comfortable using digital channels and technology to assist customers.
• Ability to multitask, adapt to change and work in a collaborative team.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Basic understanding of compliance requirements.
