Banking Consultant – Part‑time (22 hrs/week) – Burleigh Heads

About the role

ANZ is looking for a Banking Consultant to join its Burleigh Heads branch on a permanent part‑time basis. You will be the primary point of contact for customers, helping them navigate everyday banking transactions and broader financial goals while promoting digital solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver a seamless branch experience by handling transactions, conducting needs‑based conversations and educating customers on digital banking options.
• Act as a role model and peer coach within a collaborative team to drive high‑quality customer service.
• Increase customer engagement and advocacy through proactive relationship building.
• Support bank programs and initiatives, ensuring a thorough “know‑your‑customer” risk assessment.
• Maintain compliance with ANZ and branch policies and procedures.

Required profile

• Strong customer focus, preferably with retail banking experience.
• Comfortable using and promoting digital channels and technology.
• Ability to multitask, adapt to change and work well in a team environment.
• Good understanding of compliance requirements.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
