Banking Consultant – Part-Time, Malvern

About the role

ANZ is hiring a Banking Consultant for its Retail Banking team, based at 150 Glenferrie Road, Malvern. The role is part-time (32 hours per week) and mainly branch-based, supporting customers with end-to-end financial needs, transaction activities and needs-based conversations, including education on digital financial solutions. It is a permanent position.

Schedule: Monday, Wednesday to Friday 08:30 AM to 05:15 PM; Tuesday and Saturday not rostered; Sunday off.

Key responsibilities

• Help customers meet their financial needs and goals across transactions, needs-based conversations and digital solutions.
• Complete customer transactions and fulfil products according to your accreditation level.
• Act as a role model and peer coach within a collaborative team to deliver the best customer experience.
• Know your customer from a risk perspective and ensure compliance with ANZ and branch policies and procedures.
• Participate in and support bank programs and initiatives.

Required profile

• Ideally retail experience; a growth mindset is valued.
• Ability to multi-task and adapt to change and ambiguity.
• Willingness to work in a collaborative team.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Required skills

• Sound understanding of compliance.
• Working knowledge of digital channels is an advantage.
