Banking Consultant, Eastgardens NSW

About the role

ANZ is hiring a Banking Consultant (Personal Banker) in its Eastgardens branch, NSW. The role is based mainly in the branch and helps customers meet their end-to-end financial needs, from transaction activities to needs-based conversations and education on financial solutions, including digital ones. It is a collaborative, customer-facing position within the Australia Retail division.

Key responsibilities

• Provide customers with a seamless branch experience by meeting their full banking needs across transactions, needs-based conversations and digital solutions.
• Complete customer transactions and hold in-depth needs-based conversations and product discussions according to your accreditation level.
• Deliver a high standard of customer service so customers become strong advocates for ANZ.
• Act as a role model and peer coach within a collaborative team.
• Support bank programs and initiatives.
• Know your customer from a risk perspective and comply with ANZ and branch policies and procedures.

Required profile

• Ideally retail experience; it is an advantage.
• Experience as a user and promoter of technology; working knowledge of digital channels is an advantage.
• Ability to multi-task and adapt to change and ambiguity.
• Willingness to work in a collaborative team.
• Sound understanding of compliance.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
