Banking Consultant – Customer Focused Retail Role

About the role

The Banking Consultant role is based in the Buddina branch of ANZ and focuses on delivering a seamless banking experience for customers. You will meet end‑to‑end financial needs, conduct needs‑based conversations and promote digital solutions while ensuring compliance and risk awareness.

Key responsibilities

• Provide customers with a seamless branch experience, handling transactions, advising on products and educating on digital channels.
• Act as a role model and peer coach within a collaborative team to drive high‑quality customer service.
• Support bank programs and initiatives, contributing to increased customer engagement and advocacy.
• Maintain compliance with ANZ policies, procedures and risk‑management requirements.

Required profile

• Strong customer focus, preferably with retail banking experience.
• Ability to multitask, adapt to change and work effectively in a team.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.

Required skills

• Experience using digital banking channels and promoting technology to customers.
• Understanding of compliance standards in a banking environment.
