Banking Consultant – Customer Experience Specialist

About the role

ANZ is looking for a Banking Consultant to join its Melbourne branch and deliver a seamless, end‑to‑end banking experience for customers. You will combine transaction processing with needs‑based conversations and digital education to help customers achieve their financial goals.

Key responsibilities

• Provide customers with a smooth branch experience, handling transactions and advising on products.
• Engage in needs‑based conversations and promote digital banking solutions.
• Act as a peer coach and role model within a collaborative team.
• Support bank programmes and initiatives that drive customer engagement and advocacy.
• Maintain a strong understanding of risk and compliance requirements.

Required profile

• Strong customer focus, preferably with retail banking experience.
• Comfortable using and promoting digital channels and technology.
• Ability to multitask and adapt to change and ambiguity.
• Team‑oriented mindset with excellent communication skills.
• Good understanding of compliance and risk principles.

Required skills

• Experience using digital banking platforms and channels.
