Banking Consultant – Byron Bay

About the role

ANZ is looking for a Banking Consultant to join its Byron Bay branch. In this permanent part‑time position you will deliver a seamless banking experience, helping customers meet their financial goals through transactions, advice and digital solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Provide a seamless branch experience by handling transactions, conducting needs‑based conversations and educating customers on digital banking options.
• Act as a role model and peer coach within a collaborative team to ensure the highest level of customer service.
• Drive customer engagement and advocacy, contributing to branch performance targets.
• Participate in and support bank programs and initiatives.
• Maintain “know your customer” risk assessments and ensure compliance with ANZ policies and procedures.

Required profile

• Strong customer focus, preferably with retail banking experience.
• Comfortable using and promoting digital channels and technology.
• Ability to multitask and adapt quickly in a fast‑paced environment.
• Commitment to delivering ANZ’s Customer Promises.

Required skills

• Proficiency with banking transaction systems.
