About the role
We are seeking a Backend Software Engineer to build the core systems behind BJAK's AI Finance Agent. You will develop reliable APIs, workflows, and financial product infrastructure that serve millions of users across multiple markets.
Key responsibilities
- Design and implement backend services, APIs, and workflows for the AI Neobank app.
- Support products across insurance, payments, wallet, savings, investing, travel, and other financial services.
- Integrate with banks, payment gateways, insurers, data providers, and other partners.
- Improve system reliability, observability, security, and performance.
Required profile
- 3+ years of backend engineering experience.
- Strong fundamentals in APIs, databases, system design and production debugging.
- Experience building scalable services and integrating third‑party systems.
- Good understanding of security, reliability, data quality and operational edge cases.
