AWS Connect Technical Lead / Sr Engineer (Contract)

About the role

Hastha Solutions has an urgent need for an AWS Connect Technical Lead or Senior Engineer on a 6-month contract, with possible extension, based in Sydney, Melbourne or Brisbane. The role provides authoritative technical leadership for the Amazon Connect platform, drives solution design alignment and owns technical delivery outcomes and platform quality standards.

Key responsibilities

• Provide authoritative technical leadership for the Amazon Connect platform and coach and mentor engineers to build long-term Amazon Connect capability.
• Drive solution design alignment, help inform decisions balancing business and technical requirements, and proactively identify design, delivery and operational risks.
• Own technical delivery outcomes and platform quality standards, and lead platform simplification and automation outcomes.
• Collaborate across AWS, vendors and internal stakeholders, and promote operational excellence, resiliency and customer experience outcomes.

Required profile

• Australian or New Zealand citizens or PR holders only.
• Experience in Amazon Connect architecture, configuration and platform administration.
• Experience with contact flows, routing strategies, queues, profiles and customer journeys.
• Experience with Amazon Lex bot integration and conversational AI design.
• Experience with Connect APIs, Lambda integrations and event-driven architectures.
• Experience with Contact Trace Records (CTR), Kinesis streaming and analytics integrations.
• Experience with Amazon Connect security, SAML/SSO and identity integration patterns.
• Experience with Workforce Management, Quality Management and Contact Lens capabilities.
• Experience with Connect platform troubleshooting, operational support and service optimisation.
• Experience with Infrastructure as Code and DevOps adoption for Amazon Connect configuration management.
