AVP Application, Infrastructure & Service Management

About the role

State Street is seeking an AVP to manage and support the production of Charles River IMS systems for multiple clients as part of its SaaS Operations strategy. The role involves close collaboration with clients, engineering, and QA teams to ensure reliable service delivery.

Key responsibilities

• Respond to technical assistance requests via Teams and Email, diagnosing software issues and recommending solutions.
• Provide application administration, support, and training for client production environments.
• Identify, test, and implement workarounds for software deficiencies and research third‑party software issues.
• Log customer interactions, prepare resolution reports, and manage special projects as needed.
• Participate in environment sizing, configuration documentation, and Azure migration reviews.

Required profile

• Strong hands‑on experience with SQL and relational database theory.
• Experience with one or more structured programming languages and development tools.
• Ability to solve complex technical problems with a detail‑oriented, analytical mindset.
• Understanding of the trading life cycle and system development life cycle is a plus.
• BS degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or a BA in Finance/Business with an IT concentration.
