Aviation Security Officers

About the role

ACESGroup is expanding its aviation security team and is looking for Aviation Screening Officers. You will help keep airport operations safe by screening passengers, baggage and visitors, working flexible rosters (day, night, weekends) across a 24/7 schedule, with both permanent and casual positions.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct passenger, baggage and personal screening in line with aviation security regulations
• Operate X-ray screening equipment and screening technology effectively
• Identify prohibited items and respond appropriately to security threats
• Maintain compliance with airport security procedures and SOPs
• Provide professional customer service while meeting safety and security standards
• Complete incident reports and keep accurate screening records
• Work with airport stakeholders, airlines and law enforcement agencies

Required profile

• Previous aviation screening, aviation security or airport operations experience is highly regarded; experienced X-ray operators are strongly encouraged to apply
• NSW Security Licence (1A minimum); ASIC preferred or eligible to obtain
• Cert II in Transport Security Protection highly regarded
• Current First Aid and CPR, White Card, Fire Warden and Traffic Control (or willing to obtain)
• Unrestricted NSW driver's licence for vehicle patrols
• Ability to pass police, drug and alcohol checks
