Automotive Technician (Mechanic)

About the role

Carma, a digital pre-owned car dealership, is looking for a qualified Automotive Technician to join its busy St Peters workshop. You will work hands-on with a variety of makes and models, performing detailed inspections, servicing and repairs to keep the workshop's quality and customer satisfaction standards high. The position is permanent and full time.

Key responsibilities

• Inspect, test drive, diagnose and repair a variety of makes and models
• Perform mechanical servicing and repairs
• Mentor apprentices and help raise the standard across the team
• Work with the operations team to improve processes and efficiency
• Keep the workspace clean, safe and tidy

Required profile

• At least 2 years' experience as a Light Vehicle Technician; multi-brand experience is a bonus
• Current Motor Mechanic Tradesperson Certificate
• Current NSW driver's licence
• Excellent communication skills
• Able to thrive in a fast-paced environment with changing priorities
