Automation Specialist with IAM Experience (Contract)

About the role

Hastha Solutions has an urgent need for an Automation Specialist with IAM experience for a 6-month contract in Sydney, with a possible extension. The specialist designs, builds, tests and implements automated workflows and integrations supporting the future-state Local Administrator Access operating model, working alongside a Technical Business Analyst to replace manual processes with scalable automation and improve user experience.

Key responsibilities

• Automate request intake, validation, approval, training checks, reporting and removal flags.
• Design and implement automated request, approval and fulfilment workflows, including orchestration, routing, notifications, escalations, exception handling and attestation.
• Streamline manual operations and automate Local Admin requests, validation, approval, fulfilment, monitoring and removal where possible.
• Uplift Jira and SailPoint workflows to speed up and automate responses.
• Build integrations between request management, identity, endpoint management and approval platforms using APIs, connectors and enterprise automation tools, enabling data exchange across Cyber, EUX and Identity systems.
• Translate business requirements into technical workflow solutions, develop automation standards and reusable components, and carry out testing, defect resolution and deployment.
• Simplify request journeys, reduce manual touchpoints and approval delays, and design self-service capabilities where appropriate.
• Develop operational dashboards, measure workflow performance and identify further automation opportunities.

Required profile

• Australian or New Zealand citizens or PR holders only.
• Experience in automation and IAM-related work.

The role is delivered as a paired team with the Technical Business Analyst, working with Cyber, EUX, Identity and Engineering stakeholders, and supports risk remediation commitments. The contract runs for 6 months and may be extended.
