Automation and AI Engineer

About the role

Chrysos is seeking an Automation and AI Engineer to partner with business stakeholders, identify automation opportunities, and develop AI‑enabled solutions that drive efficiency across the company.

Key responsibilities

• Identify manual, repetitive or inefficient processes suitable for automation or AI.
• Design, build and maintain automations using Microsoft Power Platform (Power Automate, Power Apps, Copilot Studio).
• Develop AI‑enabled workflows and agents, selecting the appropriate tool (scripting, LLM, etc.).
• Build integrations across systems using APIs, connectors and scripting languages such as Python, PowerShell or JavaScript.
• Prototype, test, validate and document solutions before production deployment.
• Monitor performance, cost and reliability of deployed solutions and apply responsible AI practices.
• Collaborate with Infrastructure & Cloud Engineering on security and deployment considerations.
• Contribute to AI Guild initiatives, governance processes and provide training to end users.

Required profile

• 1–3 years of experience in automation, scripting, integrations or software development.
• Hands‑on experience with Microsoft Power Platform or similar low‑code tools.
• Working knowledge of APIs and system integration concepts.
• Basic to intermediate programming ability (Python, JavaScript, PowerShell or C#).
• Strong communication skills and ability to work with both technical and non‑technical stakeholders.
