Audit Manager

About the role

Join Marsh’s Internal Audit Department in Melbourne as an Audit Manager. This hybrid position requires you to be in the office at least three days a week and involves leading audits, building stakeholder relationships, and contributing to governance and team development.

Key responsibilities

• Support the risk assessment process and develop the annual audit plan.
• Lead internal audits and special projects, including interviews, testing and report preparation.
• Review work of audit staff to maintain high‑quality deliverables.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with audit clients and present findings to Audit and Risk Committees.
• Contribute to resource planning, budget oversight and staff development, including recruiting and mentoring.

Required profile

• Significant experience in business, audit or accounting.
• Strong analytical, problem‑solving and project‑management skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication, with experience presenting to senior stakeholders.
• Bachelor’s degree in business, accounting, finance or a related field.

Required skills

• Sound knowledge of audit methods and internal control concepts.
• Ability to assess business and technology risks.
• Experience with data analytics and audit automation tools.
